Art & soul

Corey Alicks Hicks is a designer and artist who has been transforming spaces for most of her life. Her passion for beauty, order, and design shines through in all her work, and she loves bringing this to other people and to all kinds of architectural spaces.
Corey holds a BFA in Fine Arts and Photography from MICA, the Maryland Institute, College of Art. She has worked as a commercial set designer and project manager, as well as an art, antique, and vintage furniture dealer. She has published and taught art and photography, and has also been a homebirth midwife since 1999, where she greatly honors clients' own sacred and soulful spaces.
She has rescued, renovated, beautified, designed and decorated hundreds of houses, buildings and spaces both public and private, on the East and West Coasts. Her interior design vision can be seen in schools, health centers, historic homes, and new houses. Corey now lives in North Carolina with her husband and five beautiful children.
